Frank M. Smith (businessman) Frank M. Smith (1889 – June 1, 1953) was a Canadian businessman and politician in Saskatchewan. He was born in Blairmore, Alberta and was a prominent flour merchant in the Moose Jaw and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He was president of the Moose Jaw Flour Milling Company, Moose Jaw Transit Company and Moose Jaw Creamery Company. He was a Dominion of Canada alderman in Moose Jaw, and in the electoral district of Moose Jaw No. 3. He was defeated when he ran for re-election in the election of 1914. He was also active in the local Liberal Party of Saskatchewan and president of the Moose Jaw Liberal Association. In 1940, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan as a Liberal-Progressive. He did not run in the 1945 general election.
